Manka is a Yogi turned Life Coach, trained in Integrated Coaching from South Africa. She brings a unique and embodied approach to mental health, combining somatic, breathwork and mindfulness practices to provide a safe release for emotions and stress stored in the body. At Kisima, she will be doing workshops on Pranayama (breathwork), Yoga Nidra (meditation) and also offering private coaching sessions.
Manka’s Kisima Oferings:
Yoga Nidra, translated as Yogic Sleep, is a sweet spot, between being awake and deep rest. 1 hour of Yogic sleep is equivalent to 4 hours of regular sleep. The perfect hangover cure! This guided meditation is like a deep tissue massage of the mind without any touch or movement. Regular practice regenerates the body, brings mental clarity and helps improve sleep quality. Please bring your own yoga mat!

Conscious Dance is a way to experience the realm of the dance floor like never before. The group is initiated into the space collectively, creating an intentional space of freedom and respect for all. It challenges the unconscious aspects of dance floor culture and gives you the tools to work through self-conscious or distracting behaviour patterns. Conscious dance welcomes you to enter into the boundless world of dance in full presence.
A carefully designed playlist takes you on a progressively rhythmic journey which evokes collective and individual energetic shifts. This is a sober dance experience which leaves you buzzing on your own limitless life-force.

(Embodiment: Emotional Release Tools and Embodied Emotions Therapy)
Manka brings a unique and embodied approach to mental health, combining somatic, breathwork and mindfulness practices to provide a safe release for emotions and stress stored in the body. In this workshop, Manka will give you an introduction to Embodiment and emotional release techniques such as TRE, Shaking, Grief release. You will have a unique opportunity to practice some of these techniques, allowing for more relaxation, joy and ease.
