SITO RENO

A true multi-instrumentalist, Sito crafts his music through a combination of singing and playing various instruments, each adding its unique flavor to the melodic tapestry he weaves.
What sets Sito’s live concerts apart is his innovative use of a loop station, allowing him to layer sounds and create intricate, multi-dimensional compositions in real-time.
The result is a spellbinding and immersive experience that transports audiences on a groovy spiritual journey, embracing the essence of different cultures while remaining firmly grounded in the spirit of Mother Nature.
For Sito, music is more than just an art form – it is a universal language, a healing force that transcends boundaries and unites people from all walks of life.
He firmly believes that music and singing are as fundamental to the human experience as breathing and talking, serving as a powerful medium for connection and understanding.
ZAITUNI WAMBUI

Zaituni Wambui the pioneer of Urban Taarab is a female singer/songwriter a live
performing artist and a Tusker Nexters finalist 2022 based in Nairobi.She started
singing at an early age, with diverse influences ranging from Bi Malika, Beyonce and Sanaipei Tande.
Her sound has evolved over the years leading to a unique blend of contemporary-urbansound featuring Taarab and traditional African Rhythms. Zaituni Wambui burst onthe scene with her debut track “Utaweza” in 2020 and later she released a heart soothing song called “Ananipenda” A fan favourite. She went on to participated in the Tusker Nexters competition where she came 2nd with a captivating performance at Oktoberfest. She has continued to release more songs,Champe featuring Tk Lyon , Lexxi and Nadia mukami, Nipende.
And her recent release Tamu off her upcoming project “labour of love”.
LAVOSTI

Lavosti is a reggae artist from Kenya.He sings music that inspires gives hope and derives his inspiration from African music and reggae music is one of the the vehicles that he uses to inspire and teach and reach people through instruments and music I’m so honored to be singing at the kisima festival.
DJ BEVER

Jamafrican Crew is a sound system originating out of Ieper, Belgium hosted by Dj Bever and Shar Perez from Suriname. They have played in Over 25 country across the 4 continents, anything from Reggae Or Dancehall & Afrobeats, Blending it with Exclusive Dubplates. Jamafrican Crew proudly displays their passion & versatility. Eagerly spreading music to the four corners of the world with full love & support for, and from the youths.
High energy mixes are served and spread through mixtapes in various styles & genres. Each carrying around a heavy bag of specials and dubplates. Jamafrican Crew has even begun to venture into the production area by making their own riddims and allowing artists to tell their own unique stories.
All while maintaining regular bookings and festival slots globaly. Working on a Daily base with Big artist from across the globe, voicing dubplates and just holding a vibe makes our music sounds like it should. Jamafrican Crew has had the pleasure of playing in Kingston, Jamaica, various areas of Belgium, and just recently 3 tours from one month in Kenya that included 20 shows, 3 times National television (citizin tv, y254 tv,K24, ..) and national radio shows (Ghetto Radio, Homeboyz Radio,Citizen…). We keep going international with shows last years In Maleysia, Bali, Prague , Italy, Dominican Republic , Spain , Jamaica, Thailand and many more.
Jamafrican Crew hosted a radio show for one year called Bruk Out Fm on Belgian Radio waves and went to the battlefield (soundclash) for the first time in 2021 (Steady Wid Di Matic 1). With connections all around the world, and a voice/spirit to bring the message of a lion, Jamafrican Crew is ready to conquer the world!

June to the Moon

Alphie Bridgett Emmanuel, known artistically as June on the Moon, is a jazz and neo-soul
singer, songwriter, and guitarist with Kenyan and Caribbean roots. Her journey has carved a
unique space within alternative, soulful, and healing music. June expresses her artistry through
songwriting, composition, and sound design.
As a live performer, June has spent the past two years touring, performing, and collaborating
across various cities: Accra, Mombasa, Lamu, Kilifi, and Dar es Salaam. She is currently based
between Nairobi and Zambia. June’s music pays homage to the artists who came before her, especially within jazz, hip-hop, and classical genres. Influences like Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, Sarah Vaughan, and Astrud Gilberto have greatly shaped her musical style.
Her musical journey reflects her experiences with transcendentalism. Often, she writes about
universal themes—the relationships between nature, humanity, the universe, and the struggles
we face both socially and politically. Through her work, she aims to bridge the gap between “us”
and “them,” rekindling the connection that binds us all.

Independent World Folk Artist. Producer. Collaborator. Influenced by West African Rhythms & Chants. Ann is currently based in Kenya, enriching the communities through music.
