CHRIS BARR

I tend to project my personality in my music fully and this entails a lot of introspection and reflection. My music is a reflection of different life situations that I’ve been and sat through and I use words and uniquely painted melodies to explicitly portray different head spaces that I’ve been through all the while promoting the agenda of self love, personal growth, acceptance and fostering a conducive environment within to operate at optimum level. I believe the best way to live and relate with others is by continuously seeking understanding of self therefore creating the ability to accommodate others at similar depths.
ZAITUNI

Zaituni the pioneer of Urban Taarab is a female singer/songwriter a live
performing artist and a Tusker Nexters finalist 2022 based in Nairobi.She started
singing at an early age, with diverse influences ranging from Bi Malika, Beyonce and Sanaipei Tande.
Her sound has evolved over the years leading to a unique blend of contemporary-urbansound featuring Taarab and traditional African Rhythms. Zaituni burst on the scene with her debut track “Utaweza” in 2020 and later she released a heart soothing song called “Ananipenda” A fan favourite. She went on to participated in the Tusker Nexters competition where she came 2nd with a captivating performance at Oktoberfest. She has continued to release more songs,Champe featuring Tk Lyon , Lexxi and Nadia mukami, Nipende.
And her recent release Tamu off her upcoming project “labour of love”.
LAVOSTI

Lavosti is a reggae artist from Kenya.He sings music that inspires gives hope and derives his inspiration from African music and reggae music is one of the the vehicles that he uses to inspire and teach and reach people through instruments and music I’m so honored to be singing at the kisima festival.
Keynotey

I create and perform music that are both inspirational, cultural and soothing. It gets one in such a beautiful place that is so peaceful. Through my music we get to celebrate the cultural diversity. Coined in a genre called Luo Urban, alot of creative choices in the music and it brings people together.
NDIBO

Ndibo is a healer, vocalist, and Afro-fusion performer whose music exists at the intersection of ancestral wisdom, spiritual activation, and emotional release.
Through a fusion of live vocals, African rhythms, and soulful instrumentation, her performances guide listeners into a meditative and liberated state. Her intention is to offer music as medicine for the mind, body, and spirit.
Her sound holds space for reflection, emotional release, and soul alignment — a perfect match for Kisima’s transformational programming.Performance Setup:

TEEKAY

Teekay is a Kenyan House deejay dedicated to creating transformative musical experiences. With a unique blend of high frequency electronic and afrocentric sounds, he curates sets that go beyond entertainment, offering spaces for healing, connection and spiritual renewal.
Flow A Lion

Flow A Lion is a reggae pioneer from Austria. He owns and runs the “Invasion Soundsystem” branch in Kenya and is based in Diani Beach. He is the founder and promoter of Austria’s most vibrant “Hill Vibes Reggae Festival”. With decades of experience in the entertainment industry he is very versatile in his energetic Dj selections which have a broad variety ranging from Reggae to Dancehall and everything in between to entertaining Remix Selections to one of Europe’s heaviest Dubplate Boxes.
DJ Bever

Jamafrcan crew is a sound system hosted by DJ Bever. High energy mixes are served and spread through mixtapes in various styles & genres. Each carrying around a heavy bag of specials and dubplates. Jamafrican Crew has even begun to venture into the production area by making their own riddims and allowing artists to tell their own unique stories.
All while maintaining regular bookings and festival slots globaly. Working on a Daily base with Big artist from across the globe, voicing dubplates and just holding a vibe makes our music sounds like it should. PJamafrican played on festivals like, Reggae Geel, Rototom Sunsplash, East African Dancehall Concert and even on the African tour from Burning Spear.
