2 – 3 pm | ELEMENTS OF EXISTENCE by Neha

3.30 – 4.30 pm | LIFE AS CEREMONY by Jeli

Life as a Ceremonial Existence is a ceremony workshop where souls will be guided into the richness of sacred ritual arts: breathwork, soul alignment readings, sacred sacraments (Rapeh & Sananga), sound bath, and elemental craftsmanship using ancient ancestral antiques for participants to create rituals and values for the family.

This workshop engages discussions around ancient indigenous cultures- by sharing family traditions and stories to remember who we are. We will explore the journey of antiques and their connections throughout indigenous earth cultures with the intention of formulating the meaning of our collective existence.

The purpose is to learn new attitudes towards sacred ritual arts and to cultivate a connection between self, ancestors and the forces of nature. Each creative trait a person obtains is seen as a way to please the ancestral spirits and show beauty in what they believe in. We support people in intention setting, trauma releasing, energetic clearing, activating ancestral DNA, enhancing creativity, and aligning with the divine.

5 – 6 pm | SOMATIC FLOW by Heather

Yoga is first and foremost, a somatic practice to arrive into the present moment. What does that mean?

Soma comes from a Greek word connoting “The Living Body” – pertaining to the consciousness of our living body, experienced and regulated from within. The practice of Somatic Yoga is thus a process of inquiry into how consciousness inhabits the living body. Somatic Yoga brings together mindfulness through movement, meditation, breathwork, visualizations, and sounds to dive deep into our consciousness and our embodied biological processes.

Through sensory-motor education, we can also improve motor control, coordination, and change learned muscular patterns. This approach to yoga is highly effective in relieving chronic pain, improving bodily function, and recovering from common musculoskeletal conditions.

For millennia, indigenous cultures have looked to the stars for ancient wisdom and guidance.

The moment you were born, all the celestial bodies were in specific quadrants in the heavens, and these quadrants are what set the tone for each person. Here, we will learn about the celestial bodies used to track birth charts and we will also learn how to interpret our own charts using simple tools. Energy healing is one of the oldest practices known in the world today. Our health greatly depends on the quality of energy that flows through us and makes up our bodies.

Everything is energy. When our energy is flowing freely, we feel great, we feel inspired and we love life. However, when we experience stress or trauma that doesn’t get released, our energy becomes blocked and this can result in depression, lack of enthusiasm, generally just feeling ‘off’, uncontrollable emotional outbursts, niggling aches, and pains in our body, and even illness.

This is a fun and hands-on workshop where you will learn how to access your subconscious to detect trapped emotions stored in your body and how to reprogram your life to one you want to live.

  • What are trapped emotions and how we create them
  • How to process emotions so they do not become trapped
  • How to detect trapped emotions using applied kinesiology

2 – 3 pm | SPIRITUALITY AS A TOOL FOR DECOLONISING MIND AND SPIRIT by Mildred

Why is it so important to decolonize the spirit?

Africans associate this term with Ngugi wa Thiong’o’s book “Decolonising the Mind: The Politics of Language in African Literature”, which advocates for linguistic decolonization. However, it is impossible to decolonize Mind without doing so for Spirit. This is because the colonial approach was multi-pronged and geared towards these two aspects of the African psyche. The main premise is that African culture was ‘Otherised’ by the colonial masters, who set up their own cultures and religions as the gold standard of civilization. Here, we will explore these methods that were historically employed in Kenya.

Exclusion is a key source of conflict, injustice, and inequality. So how can we celebrate diversity and move from exclusive to more inclusive environments in our families and our communities, and in societies writ large?

In this workshop, Thania will lead us into reflection and action-oriented discussion about how we can become the drivers of the change we want to see.

MAIN STAGE

09:00 – 10:00 am | DREAM SYMBOLISM AND INTERPRETATION by Mildred

The dream realm is what we also refer to as the astral realm. Some may say this realm is not real, but then that presents a metaphysical problem. If your dream is not real then it would mean that YOU the dreamer and perceiver, are not real as well. But we already know this is not true.

The dream realm is the realm of symbols, and by conscious analysis, you can glean messages and information that you have access to on the other side. Here, we will learn about dream archetypes and symbols, thereby empowering ourselves through interpreting our own dreams.
