Fionah is a holistic wellness advocate and is currently practising as a counselling psychologist. She founded Lotasi in 2020 with the aim of supporting individuals on their path to wholeness of being. Lotasi is a loose Swahili-fication of the lotus flower – a flower that blooms beautifully despite the murky waters in grows in. This, she feels is symbolic, not just of her own healing journey, but that of the clients she works with – people who have a desire to gain back their power and create a life they love despite the circumstances they find themselves in.
In her one-on-one client work as group facilitation, she is able to help people gain deeper insight into themselves, explore internal resources and develop actionable plans.
She is also a certified mediator and uses her mediation training to guide clients in intra-mediation – where she helps the clients close the gap between present-self and desired future-self.
