I’m not much of a Yogi, does that matter?

Everyone is welcome, whether you are an experienced practitioner or otherwise.  Come and have lunch, enjoy the space, listen to some talks, some poetry, some beautiful music, enjoy our art gallery, get a massage and play on the swings! There is a wide range of fun things to do on site. So even if you don’t participate in a single workshop it’s still definitely worth coming along.

This year we are offering daily integration sessions during the lunch break. This is a great space to go for you to speak to any experiences you’e been having during the festival. It’s a wonderful space for newbies or those very experiences in well-being offerings to support the integration of all your learnings.

I’m an experienced practitioner, will my mind still be blown?

Kisima offers the widest range of offerings available in the region, taught by the highest quality  instructors with many years experience. You can be sure to  deepen your existing  practise, and experience something new and exciting!

What is there to do on site?

Beneath the Baobabs is a beautiful site, with incredible artistry ensconced in nature. There are vendors, bars, music talks and vibes happening all weekend. The space  is complete with shower swings, and a huge kids play area, set in nature to add to the general silliness and merriment of the weekend.

Can I stay on site?

Yes – There is  camping available on-site free for festival ticket holders.  We provide the space but you provide everything else, so bring your own tent!  You can also book at Arcadia Bushcamp or Shamba community nearby.  If you don’t like those options, speak to Karibu Kenya, they can arrange all accommodation and transport for you! And they know everyone in hospitality in Kenya! Check out our accommodation page here with all the details!

Can I bring my kids?

We are a family first festival. Kids are more than welcome to join in the festivities,as are aunties and uncles and grandparents and everyone! Bring the whole family. There is a huge Kids area with content and practices all day long! There will also be performances by children too through Youth Theatre Kenya!

I want to bring a nanny or I need nanny services. How does that work?

Communicate with us if you need our help sourcing a nanny or caregiver for the event!   Caregivers who do not intend to access workshops at the festival, and who are there solely to support with childcare, can be issued kid’s tickets. You can purchase a kids ticket on their behalf and that will grant them access to the kids area to support in childcare.

Will I be able to book in for therapies (aka massages, etc) ahead of the event ?

How can I get involved?

All our applications are now closed  but please email us at kisima@beneaththebaobabs.com if you have a proposal!
