Benny Giuliani: Yin Yang and Restorative Yoga | Kisima Festival 2021

Benny has been practicing Hatha and Iyengar yoga since she was 15 years old but, finally became a teacher in 2017. Since then she has never looked back and continues training in and teaching yin, restorative and functional vinyasa wherever and whenever she can.

Despite her strong alignment background her classes and workshops take on a very functional approach allowing the very real variations is our body the freedom to move at their own pace. She believes that it is important to cultivate a sense of self awareness with regards to our body and mind so that we may be truly in harmony with ourselves.

In 2018 she founded Yin Yoga Africa which has become a home of yin and functional yoga in Kenya.

Yin Yang Yoga

Yin Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice – bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures of Vinyasa

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a type of yoga known for its relaxing, calming and healing effect. The long held poses are considered ideal for those recovering from injuries or illnesses as well as an ideal practice to balance to hectic and stressful modern lifestyles.

Where: Baobab Deck on Saturday 23rd October.
